When was the last time you watched a film without first having to get past a subscription barrier, being interrupted by adverts right at the most exciting moment, or having to pay with your personal data in the background?

Stories belong to people – not to algorithms. That’s exactly why RIVENHALL is being created.

We’re building our own streaming platform for newly produced short films. Our promise is radically simple – and this model applies just as much to the audience as it does to creative filmmakers:

⚬ 100% free for the audience – and free of charges or access barriers for creatives
⚬ 0% adverts that ruin the atmosphere, the flow of the narrative and the artistic work
⚬ No compulsory subscriptions and no hidden paywalls – neither in front of nor behind the scenes
⚬ No sale of personal data – privacy remains privacy

Sounds like a utopia? It isn’t. It’s possible! Through smart funding models, cultural support, charitable work, strong sponsorship and a collaborative structure, independent cinema can be established on a sustainable footing: uncompromisingly free for audiences and fairly supported for all creative filmmakers.

But a vision only comes to life through the people who champion it. To bring RIVENHALL from concept to screen, we’re looking for pioneers, doers and people driven by conviction:
